ICKitties Roadmap 2022

Kittizens, 2021 was both a crazy and amazing year and it’s now finally behind us.
We hope you enjoyed the time with your families and got your well deserved rest after a very busy year! As did we, and now with freshly charged batteries, we’re ready to kickstart 2022!

Q1

Roadmap 2.0 release

1. Beginning of our charity campaign together with our partner ICPuppies. We’ve gotten in touch with around 15 animal shelters in our city and we will buy the needed supplies to help the puppies & kitties in need & document every donation
2. Continuation of our seasonal airdrops. ICPuppies’ dev has learned how to mint wearables collections and is currently teaching our dev how to do it as well. We’re sorry for the delay with the Christmas airdrop, but as soon as we iron all the remaining details, we’ll be able to handle future wearables collections ourselves, a lot faster.
   Wearable functionality will also be enabled soon.
3. The launch of the “ICKitties x ICPuppies” podcast, an initiative between ICKitties & ICPuppies. The podcast, hosted by @Mr. Whiskers and @Lucian, the co-founders of ICKitties & ICPuppies, will have a weekly episode.
   We’ve got the equipment and are arranging the set, this podcast will be centered around the NFT space in the IC Ecosystem.

Things that you can expect to see in the podcasts are:

• Interviews/AMAs with NFT creators
• News about ICP
• Updates about the ICKitties & ICPuppies collections
• Giveaways, contests, and much more!

4. We’re working on an NFT collection in collaboration with ICPuppies. Both our teams are working on it and ICPuppies/ICKitties holders will have definite advantages and discounts. We’d love to share more about it but we don’t want to spoil the fun. All we can say is this collection will be one of the central pillars of the metaverse we’re building and you’ll love it!

Q2

1. Release of the ICKitties book (like a children’s book if you will) which will help the future generations understand what NFTs are and how everything will be included in the Metaverse. This was one of our original plans and we’re excited to work on it and showcase our progress with our community.
2. We’re working on designing the ICKitties x ICPuppies Metaverse game’s world design, UX/UI, and in-game assets. Since we’re merging our two teams, the scope of the game has increased and we’re still changing things as we go in order to create something great. Suggestions are welcome as we keep improving our game ideas.
3. We’re planning on merging the ICKitties and ICPuppies Discord channels soon. Since we’ve built a strong connection with the ICPuppies team, this change will make things more organized and will give a boost to both of our communities by uniting them in a single server. We will be able to focus even more on communication and take our community management to the next level!
4. Releasing a Token in collaboration with ICPuppies. We are still discussing details about tokenomics and distribution, but in essence, it will be distributed as a reward for staking ICKitties or ICPuppies. We are constantly looking for ways to create value for our communities.
