ICKitties Winter Update!

Kittizens, Christmas is coming and as we promised, we’ll do a wearable collection airdrop for our holders!

All ICKitties holders can expect to receive the Christmas themed airdrops depending on the number of ICKitties in their wallet!

Aidrop distribution:

• Christmas background — Hold at least 3 ICKitties in your wallet to be eligible
• Christmas wearables — For every 5 ICKitties you’re holding, you’ll be airdropped 1 (out of the 22 different) Christmas wearables

One week has passed since our launch and we’re thrilled to announce you a few of the things that our collection has achieved in this short amount of time:

• We were the fastest 10,000 collection to ever sell out on ICP (in less than 3 minutes)
• 9500 ICP volume (at the time of writing) in 1 week
• We became a top 10 collection by trading volume in under 48 hrs. (we’re now in top 6, just under our partner ICPuppies)
• We’ve had some huge sells during this week (the highest one being the God of Rainbow Kingdom for 448 ICP!)

In other news, there’s a bunch of things we’d like to update you on:

1. Strategic Partnership with ICPuppies

We are thrilled to announce that our new strategic partnership with our friends at ICPuppies will go into full effect in 2022.
The main objective of our partnership is to build a strong connection between our teams and help increase adoption on the Internet Computer blockchain, via NFTs.

We strongly believe that cooperation is the only way to move forward and build a strong foundation for the long run, therefore starting from this point forward, ICKitties and ICPuppies become sister projects.

Key points for our partnership:

a. We are going to put our resources together and start building an online publication dedicated to NFTs on the Internet Computer. This will serve as a launchpad for new projects, and also bring a voice to the NFT creators in the space.

b. Exploring the NFT gaming space, in order to develop a self-sustaining P2E metaverse that will be home to both our universes (ICKitties x ICPuppies)

c. Creating and deploying new NFT collections as rewards for both ICKitties and ICPuppies hodlers.

Lastly, kittizens we are at a loss for words for what ICKitties has become in such a short amount of time. Every day we wake up motivated to keep building our vision and having the community by our side means everything to us, so to you all: a BIG BIG thank you! 🙏
